The Gail and Delores Fund teams up with the South Dakota Community Foundation for future grants [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Gail and Delores Miller Fund was created to help underfunded organizations in South Dakota. They teamed up with the South Dakota Community Foundation to provide new grants to area businesses. The Adult Day Services in Rapid City have received the latest grant to expand their work in the community.

The Adult Day Center serves people anywhere from 15 to 100 years old, with their average client being around 60. These daycare services are easing the strain on nursing homes, as they are becoming a place that cares for adults with Alzheimer’s, dementia, paralysis, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, or just loneliness. They hope to create more community as they plan to open their second location this year, with a grant from The Gail and Delores Miller Fund.
