5 Investigates obtained federal documents that provide new details in the case against embattled Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson.The documents detail everything Boston City Hall workers were required to turn over to a grand jury related to the councilor.Fernandes Anderson was arrested earlier this month by the FBI at her home in Dorchester. She was indicted by a federal grand jury and is accused of taking a $7,000 kickback from a relative she hired.According to court documents, the two allegedly exchanged cash in a bathroom at City Hall.In the federal subpoena sent to Boston City Hall back in September, investigators demanded the following information:- All electronic communications sent and received by Fernandes Anderson and her staff from 2022 to September 2024- All records relating to Fernandes Anderson and her staff’s compensation, salary, bonuses, stipends, expenses and/or travel reimbursement, work performance and hiring- All records and information relating to nondisclosure agreements her staff signedFernandes Anderson pleaded not guilty to five federal counts of wire fraud and one federal count of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds.
