A New Orleans family has grown from a small family of three to a family of seven, after giving birth to quadruplets just days before Thanksgiving.Peyton and Farrah Larry found out they were expecting on Mother’s Day. “I’m grateful really, it’s such a blessing. We definitely did not plan on having four new babies. We were expecting one and just trying to stay afloat and happy for this two year old,” said Farrah. The couple said, it was at their first doctor’s appointment they received the shock of a life time. According to the family, doctors told them they were having four babies.”We saw the ultrasound tech’s face, and my husband asked, ‘What’s wrong?’ She replied, ‘Give me a minute,’ then when she moved the little stick, it was four circles up there and she was like, ‘It’s four,'” said Farrah. The couple told WDSU they were shocked because neither of their families had a history of twins and did not use fertility treatments.”I think we processed it for the eight and a half months, and now they’re here,” said Farrah. On Nov. 20, the couple welcomed their four girls, Lyric, Paisley, Psalm and Fallyn.”It’s been good, but it’s also been testing. I’ve learned the value of patience and letting things run its course. I’ve been there for mom and for our son PJ as well. I’ve just been an extra pair of hands, providing my family the support,” said Peyton. The couple said, although they are thrilled about this new unexpected journey they must also focus on the overwhelming expenses, setting up a GoFundMe to help out.”Right now, we’re just trying to raise some funds to get a van or small truck. We have five car seats, so my SUV no longer works. Someone could even donate a van. That’s really our most pertinent need right now. ” said Farrah.Currently, the Quads remain in the hospital, but the family said they are preparing to welcome them home.”I had them at 32 and a half weeks, so they’re just mastering feeding by mouth, but we’re getting closer to them coming home. That’s what I’m smiling about. I can’t wait for them to come home,” said Farrah. The family is now ready to live their new life with their new bundles of joy, saying they’re looking forward to creating lifetime memories with their new baby girls.”All the smiles and just raising them to be productive and good people in society. I can’t wait to see them all interact and just grow up together,” said Farrah.”I echo that. I’m looking forward to the memories and leaving a positive impact on the world through my daughters. I want to leave the world better than what I found it so raising them to be the best individuals they can be,” said Peyton. The family said they have also put bracelets on the girls to tell them apart. “It’s going to be interesting. I’m sure they’ll be playing tricks on us,” said the couple.
