Two companies in South Carolina have announced they are closing, which will affect more than 200 employees. Gentherm closure: Gentherm in Greenville will close at the end of 2024, according to the company. Gentherm sent the following statement to WYFF News 4:”As part of Gentherm’s restructuring plan to improve the Company’s manufacturing productivity and footprint, we made the decision to relocate certain existing manufacturing and related activities in the Greenville, South Carolina facility to a new facility in Monterrey, Mexico. We will maintain a location in the greater Greenville area for remaining support functions not related to manufacturing.
