School disruptions expected in NSW as teachers stop work for meeting [Video]

Disruptions are expected at schools across NSW this morning with thousands of teachers attending a union meeting.

There’ll be a stop-work meeting for nearly 60,000 NSW state school teachers from 8.30am until 10am.

The NSW Teachers Federation said there would be “minimal supervision” for children at schools in the morning, and some schools have gone as far as to tell parents to keep kids at home until at least 10am.

In some cases, it is affecting exams for year 9 and 10 students but parents are being assured the stop-work won’t disrupt the HSC.
