Sandridge Foods plans expansion in Medina [Video]

MEDINA, Ohio — The city is planning to offer an incentive to Sandridge Foods as the company prepares to expand its operations in Medina.

City Council’s Finance Committee approved a job creation grant agreement with the company after Economic Development Director Kimberly Marshall shared some details of the project.

“They are planning to do a renovation of their facility at 820 Lafayette Road,” Marshall said.

“This is going to allow for an expansion of their sales and marketing department.”

Marshall said the city’s Business Development Committee reviewed the project last month and recommended approval of the grant agreement.

“They plan to make improvements to the interior and exterior of the building and to create 10 full-time jobs with an additional $600,000 in payroll,” she said.

“Those new jobs are set to start in 2025 and they should all be in place by 2027.”
