An animal shelter has pleaded for loving homes for some of their longest residents, including one who has been in their care for almost two years.
Clarks Farm Rehoming Centre, based in England, works tirelessly to give retired racing Greyhounds a new life as an adored pet, away from the racing track.
Recently, the shelter took to social media via their TikTok account, @clarksfarmrehomingcentre, where they showcased some “beautiful souls” who have “been waiting far too long for a family to call their own.”
In a clip viewed almost 25,000 times since being posted on January 29, staff showed short clips of their dogs who have “been waiting the longest for a place to call home.”
They first introduced greyhound Alan, shown wearing an adorable sweater and staring sweetly at the camera, revealing he has been with them for a heartbreaking 565 days.
