MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A cold front is going to swing through the Mid-South on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, in which, behind that, some chilly temperatures will return to the region.
Afternoon high temperatures are going to be stuck in the 40s for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, the upcoming weekend and even into next week. The Mid-South is going to be 10-15° below average during those days, and overnight low temperatures in the 20s and lower 30s will be in place during that time, too.
The reason why we are going to be that chilly is due to a cold front that is going to swing to the east, which will bring some showers and potential thunderstorms on Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning.
