A German pizzeria is out of business after they were caught dealing cocaine with one of their bestselling pizzas.
The Düsseldorf-based restaurant delivered their bestselling ‘pizza no.40’ with bags of cocaine until police busted them.
German police arrested the eatery’s manager, a 36-year-old, who threw a bag of drugs out of the window as police came to his home.
The bag ‘fell right into’ the officer’s hands.
But just days after being discharged from police custody, the same man began offering the pizza order again, leading to the arrest of 15 others involved in the illicit trade.
Nearly four pounds of cocaine, 14oz of cannabis and £223,449 was seized by police, DW reported.
Chief Inspector Michael Graf von Moltke said officers had been monitoring the pizzeria since earlier this year, when food inspectors found drugs in the kitchen.
