HED BEEN AT THE HOSPITAL LAST WEEK FOR A ROUTINE APPOINTMENT WHEN HE ESCAPED. DEPUTIES CAPTURED AND ARRESTED ALSTON FRIDAY MORNING AT A HOTEL IN KANNAPOLIS, AND THEN LATER THAT DAY ARRESTED CRISP AT HER HOME IN BURLINGTON. ONE OF THE SUSPECTS CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO A FIRE THAT KILLED A LEXINGTON FIRE CAPTAIN WILL ALSO APPEAR IN COURT TODAY. RONNIE METCALFE DIED IN MARCH FROM INJURIES HE SUSTAINED WHILE FIGHTING A HOUSE FIRE ON FIFTH STREET. BRANDON HOSKINS AND STACIE STEGALL ARE BOTH CHARGED WITH MISDEMEANOR BREAKING AND ENTERING INTO THE HOME. HOSKINS IS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR IN COURT LATER TODAY.
