Owner of Phoenix shutter company charged with contracting without a license [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Marie Calvano says thanks to On Your Side, she finally has shutters installed throughout her home by a legitimate and reputable company.

“We could have had this last summer. Or last spring. And we didn’t,” Calvano told On Your Side.

That’s because Calvano initially dealt with an unlicensed company and handed over more than $5,700.

That company was called AllGood Shutters and Blinds. But after paying in full, she never got anything from the company.

Calvano wasn’t the only one, either.

Other viewers say they were forced to put up paper blinds because the same thing happened to them.

So, six months ago, On Your Side confronted Kevin Cash, the owner of AllGood Shutters and Blinds.

We wanted to know why so many consumers complained that they paid him for shutters and never got anything.

“I’m going to pay him back,” Cash said about one of his customers we asked about.
