Jim Shanley
Bio: Oregon recruited Shanley out of North Bend High School. He became one of the best all-around offensive and special teams weapons in Oregon history.
Key statistics: A UO Hall of Famer, Shanley ended his three years at Oregon with 1,837 rushing yards. As a sophomore, he ranked 10th in the nation with 711 rushing yards.
Shanley was selected to the All-Pacific Coast team in 1957 and earned All-America recognition.
He became the first Oregon player to be selected to the Senior Bowl.
Stanley was inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame and the North Bend High School Hall of Fame.
