A team of Dauphin County law enforcement officers who saved a 2-year-old girl held hostage by an armed man in Harrisburg last year were among the many honored at an awards ceremony on Monday.
The toddler’s dramatic rescue from a Hall Manor home on May 30, 2023, involved officers from Harrisburg City, Pennsylvania State Police and other Dauphin County departments — many of whom appeared at the Harrisburg Bureau of Police ceremony at the Whitaker Center.
