TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – When it rains it pours here during monsoon and when that rain gets into your house, some dangers may be lurking behind the scenes.
Dangers like mold.
Steamy Concepts is a company that does mold remediation.
They said the damage they’ve seen this year has been very high and some have come from previous seasons.
They said any sort of standing water in your home from these storms needs to be addressed quickly to protect your home and your health.
“50% to 100% of the roofs torn off and are just completely flooding the rest of the house so there can be some severe damage with these,” Steamy Concepts Business Development Manager Garrett Case said. “You need to get it done quickly because otherwise, it’s just going to keep getting worse and worse.”
They said insurance companies have also been backed up from the damage so make sure to file a claim sooner rather than later.
