FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is inviting the community to participate in an online survey regarding the upcoming I-475 project from the Flint River to Bristol Road.
MDOT is asking the public to help select one of three design concepts for the 2nd Street bridge over I-475 in Flint, which will be converted into a pedestrian crossing only with no vehicle traffic.
The three design ideas include a courtyard concept, a lighted tunnel concept or a whimsical community space.
Interested residents, commuters, community stakeholders, local businesses and MDOT staff are encouraged to take part in the survey. The survey will be available to take from now until Oct. 1. A link to the survey can be found here.
