Police say that a man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car on Thursday afternoon in South Boston.
Around 1:08 p.m., Boston police officers went to West Fourth and A Street for a report of a pedestrian struck, according to Mark Marron, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department.
When the officers arrived, they transported the victim to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries, Marron told MassLive. The driver was unseen.
