Maine Veterans Project hosts tile wall fundraiser [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Maine Veterans Project is hosting a fundraiser.

The idea is rather simple.

People and businesses can purchase a tile for $250.

The donor’s name is then etched on the tile and from there it is permanently hung on the walls of Maine Veterans Project Headquarters.

”The tile wall project, as you can see, is a project that we had started a couple of years ago and didn’t really take off as well as we thought, and it was an idea that we had been floating around to try to raise some more money for our nonprofit organization.” said Anthony Murano, Director of Programming, Maine Veterans Project.
