Macon family needs help after tree falls through home [Video]

MACON, Ga. — A Macon family of five is working to figure out what comes next after a tree fell onto their home Saturday.  Now, the Dickinson family is bouncing around hotels and living out of their car.

Andrew Dickinson says the large tree fell through the family’s home while they were inside.

“As soon as it happened, they started crying instantly. I mean you can hear it in them that they were scared,” Dickinson said. 

“As soon as I heard them, I rushed, you know, as fast as I could,” Dickinson said. 

Dickinson says after reaching out to the Red Cross they said it may take up to two weeks before they can help. Mom, Kiera Brock, says they created a GoFundMe because they’re all alone.
