LOS ANGELES (KABC) — The hot and humid heat wave will be gone by Wednesday in Southern California as temperatures drop to more comfortable levels.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will be sunny and mild, with a high of 81 on Wednesday, then the upper 70s for the rest of the week.
The valleys and Inland Empire will be warm and clear, reaching 86 degrees on Wednesday.
Beaches on Wednesday will see some clouds in the morning with a high of 71 and similar conditions the rest of the week.
Mountains will be sunny with a high of 74, but smoke will hang in the air from multiple wildfires burning in Southern California.
The desert areas will hit about 92, with some wind gusts reaching 50 mph.
