SUFFOLK, Va. — Severe weather can pose a challenge for those in the tree removal business, as they clean up the mess left from these storms.
The team at Butch’s Tree Service, though, said it’s just business as usual.
“Basically you have to get in line, once the storm hits, oh gosh, then it’s just total chaos,” Wilfredo Pullido said.
Phones at Butch’s Tree Service keep ringing because of Debby, which has brought wind, rain and tornado warnings.
“Anytime wind and rain are involved with trees, it’s gonna be a problem.” he said.
Just this week, they responded to homes where trees had fallen. One fell on a vehicle on Route 58 Thursday afternoon.
Luckily, there were only minor injuries, but if a tree falls on your home, you may not be so lucky.
“Don’t wait until the last minute,” he said. “Get it done, call your arborist [and] let them look at your trees,” he said.
