West Coast recruit Liam Baker has spoken about the reasons why he traded Richmond for the Eagles.
The 27-year-old was handed a five-year deal to join West Coast, who haven’t made the finals since 2020.
Baker – a dual premiership at the Tigers – was excited to return to his home state of Western Australia and start to build success at the Eagles.
“I’m loving being at the club, it’s pretty similar to most clubs, I’d imagine,” Baker said.

“The boys are really good. We work hard, we have a laugh and and that’s it. (I’m) loving being back home, loving the club.
“They’re very welcoming, the boys and and the staff. I’m as happy as ever at the moment.
