LEAP Kitchen looking to support local food producers, small businesses as new kitchen members [Video]

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—The LEAP Kitchen has announced that it is looking for new kitchen members and business partnerships.

LEAP Kitchen is a nonprofit located in the west end of Roanoke that supports farmers and makes fresh, local food available to everyone in the community. The kitchen’s goals are all about serving the community, and helping local producers make fresh food available for those who need it.

Through this partnership, LEAP Kitchen wants to support small businesses in the community. LEAP Kitchen is looking for people who already own or are interested in starting small food businesses.

“We want to help (local food producers) out from beginning to end and get them going in our facility,” said Jeff Bland, kitchen manager for LEAP Kitchen. “We’re looking for anybody who wants to start their dream.”
