Jefferson County Family Resource Center receives major funding to support young people [Video]

The Jefferson County Family Resource Center is on a mission to address issues that may cause young people to get involved in crime.During Tuesday’s Birmingham City Council meeting, they received major funding to support their goal.The city authorized a grant it received from the Department of Justice to go toward the center’s RESTORE program.They received more than $1M in funding that will be allocated over the next three years.
