Its waking us up in the middle of the night: Downtown residents tired of burnouts [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Cars burning out, doing donuts, and screeching down Grand Boulevard have many residents frustrated.

Andrew Zorn and his fiancé live at The Grand and showed video to KCTV5 of the constant annoying and dangerous activity.

“It’s waking us up in the middle of the night,” Zorn said. “Also, whenever I get home from work, they start doing donuts.”

In the videos, it shows the cars meeting up in the parking lot at the corner of 12th and Grand. Then they spin out and do donuts at every intersection and sometimes in the middle of the road.

“It’s frustrating,” Zorn said. “KC is a beautiful city, and we love loving here, but the noise in the middle of the night and that they don’t seem to stop is frustrating.”
