Police said they arrested two business owners at their homes Wednesday.
LAFAYETTE, Ind — Police in Lafayette arrested three people Wednesday during an investigation at two massage parlors.
Officers served search warrants Jan. 22 at Royal Massage, 405 Sagamore Parkway South in Lafayette, and at The Kokomo Massage, 3841 S. Lafountain St. in Kokomo. The spokesperson said it was part of “an 11-month investigation into human trafficking crimes linked to the businesses’ owners.”
Investigators alleged the businesses were being used for prostitution under the guise of legitimate massage parlors. Alleged financial crimes are also under investigation, according to a news release from police.
Police said they arrested two business owners at their homes Wednesday. A male located inside Royal Massage was also arrested, accused of visiting a common nuisance.
