Germany-based clean energy company relocates headquarters to Greenville County [Video]

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An international company with a focus on clean energy storage has made its new home in Greenville County.

Fenecon is a German-owned company that specializes in energy efficient products like electric car batteries. Its new headquarters will be inside a 136,000 square foot building on Tanner Price Way in Greenville later this fall.

“The idea here is to make an American energy storage system out of American hands, and out of American material,” said Fenecon CEO Thomas Goesswein.

Goesswein told 7NEWS their goal is to make clean energy storage available to small and large businesses all across the area, and help Greenville County to improve its energy footprint.
