Funeral procession starts in Louisville for Kentucky Fish and Wildlife recruit | News from WDRB [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A funeral procession for a 24-year-old who worked for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources started in Louisville on Sunday morning.

William Bailey had a medical emergency during a training exercise in Barren County on Friday. He was a Game Warden Recruit from Richmond, Ky.

After Bailey was pronounced dead at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, he was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office on La Grange Road in Louisville on Friday evening. He was then moved to a Louisville funeral home.

The procession started on Third Street to the Watterson Expressway to Interstate 65. The procession terminated in Huntsville, Ala. where a funeral will be held.

Bailey was a recent graduate from Eastern Kentucky University where he played football for four years.
