WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – A First Alert Weather Day continues Thursday night to early Friday morning for North Central Wisconsin. Snowfall totals will be lower than earlier forecast due to a more southern track of low pressure, and not quite as much moisture for the storm system to work with locally. No less, periods of light to moderate snow will continue to fall into Thursday night, causing slick to snow-covered roads. Although there won’t be a lot of wind, it will be a bit breezy, with some of the fluffy snow blowing around at times Thursday night into early Friday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the area through early Friday morning. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Juneau, Adams, and Waushara Counties.
