WESTBROOK, Maine — At 2-years-old, Karla is looking for her forever home. She’s living right now at the Meow Cat Lounge in Westbrook, which works with area shelters to feature adoptable cats in a comfortable and convenient setting.
People can book appointments to just sit in the lounge with homework, a book, some snacks and hang out with cats that are available for adoption. The Meow Cat Lounge does accept walk-ins, but reserving a spot will guarantee you access to the space. There are also events including belly dancing classes and pottery at the lounge, and you can book your own private events there.
