A home on the corner of Northeast 143rd and Kimberly Drive in Excelsior Springs has been reduced to rubble following an explosion.The blast, which Clay County Sheriff’s deputies say was felt for miles, shook nearby homes and startled residents awake in the early hours.Robert Zelinski, neighbor who had known the owners for nearly 30 years, described the scene as “horrific.”“I don’t see how anybody could live through it.
