Presenter Steve Brown confessed he felt “deflated” regarding a house-hunter’s lack of enthusiasm on Escape to the Country.
During Wednesday’s show, Steve was back exploring scenic Cornwall helping business owner Viv on her quest to move from Surbiton in South West London to the rural English county.
As well as looking for a home for herself, Viv wanted to host holidaymakers and was keen to purchase somewhere with ample amounts of space to do so. Joined by her friend Karen, the two women explored the homes Steve had on his list.
But when it came to the third mystery house – which Steve thought would be perfect for Viv – he was left disappointed by her reaction. Viv explained that she felt the home lacked the “X factor” she was hoping for.
