Emmerdale fans believe they have solved the mystery of Rose Jackson’s sudden disappearance. Rose, the ex-wife of Will Taylor and estranged mother of Dawn Fletcher, made her first appearance on the ITV soap earlier this year.

Viewers quickly picked up on her issues with Will’s new wife, Kim Tate, as she made a series of dubious decisions while settling into Home Farm. In recent episodes, it was revealed that she was secretly working with Ruby Fox-Miligan to sabotage Kim and her marriage.

Rose tried to drug Will but ended up drugging her own daughter Dawn, causing a car crash for which she blamed Kim. However, last week saw Ruby and Rose’s plot exposed, but not before Rose had a chance to sleep with Will behind Kim’s back.
