EdTech start-up IreeMay seeks to raise 800,000 [Video]

IreeMay has announced a funding round to accelerate the development and launch of a platform that promises to help secondary school students to align their strengths, interests, passions and personal goals.

The company, established in Claremorris in 2021, is led by directors Mike Bonnar, Pete Karolczak, Patrick Myers and Arthur Godsil, the former headmaster of St Andrew’s College in Dublin.

IreeMay is seeking to raise €800,000, and after launch the business envisages making the platform available in overseas markets.

The company said the visual-based psychometrics used for online assessment will be university-accredited.

IreeMay said testing in over 20 schools resulted in positive feedback from principals and guidance counsellors.

The team also includes Kevin Thomas, chief marketing officer, Igor Menezes, psychometrics research advisor, and strategic education advisor Emma Godsil, who owns Godsil Education.
