Dothan supt says staff being stalked, former teacher calls him out [Video]

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)— On July 16, Dothan City Schools superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe released a letter to the Circle City community addressing what he called “constant cyber harassment.”

In the letter, Coe says that the school system employees have been “vilified.” The superintendent revealed that many people have taken to social media for the past few months to criticize the schools and its staff members.

Coe says that DCS tried to ignore online comments, but it was time to take action after staff members began to fear for their safety. “We had several employees who had been followed home from work. They followed individuals home, and had taken pictures of them at home, in their yard.”

While Coe may have intended to write this letter to advocate for DCS and its employees, one former DCS teacher feels otherwise.
