MEXIA, Texas — An emergency water leak has been reported at a fire hydrant in Mexia.
According to a post from the city, the leak is on Bowie and Palestine. A partial road blockage is occurring at the intersection where the leak has been reported.
The city says some homes around the 1100 block of East Palestine Avenue, Commerce Street, Main Street, Hopkins Street, Titus Street, and Tamarisk Avenue may also experience a water outage. Those traveling in the area are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly.
The city estimates a 2–6-hour timeframe for the leak to be repaired.
