Connecticut Humane Society in ‘urgent need of donations’ [Video]

NEWINGTON, Conn. — The Connecticut Humane Society, or CHS, is in “urgent need of donations” for their pet food pantry, according to a Facebook post Wednesday.

The pantry is out of both dry cat food and dry dog food, according to CHS. They are especially welcoming brands including Purina One, Friskies, Blue Buffalo and Purina.

Those looking to donate items to CHS can place orders online or drop them off at any CHS location during business hours between 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day. More information on donating can be found here.

All donations must be unopened and unexpired, CHS said.
