Jack LeGath traveled from Ohio to Saginaw to break the competitive eating record at Heidi’s Darn Good Cookies.
SAGINAW, Mich. (WJRT) – Not many people have a sweet tooth as big as Jack LeGath.
He traveled two and a half hours from Bowling Green, Ohio, to Saginaw so he could take on the jumbo cookie eating challenge at Heidi’s Darn Good Cookie.
LeGath learned about the challenge online and wanted to check it out. He had to eat 12 cookies in under 14 minutes to break the previous record, which he totally destroyed.
LeGath ended up eating 12 giant cookies in only 11.5 minutes.
“I feel great,” he said. “I’m ready to eat some more cookies.”
So he kept going. LeGath ended up eating 18 giant cookies in 25 minutes to break Heidi’s records.
