CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated a successful 2024 and previewed a big 2025 at its 82nd annual Meeting and Awards event on Thursday.
243 people attended the celebration at the Surf Ballroom and witnessed the launch of the 2025 Clear Lake Visitor Guide and the presentation of the following awards:
– First Mate of the Year went to Denise Etzel, Next Level Health and Wellness
– Entrepreneur of the Year was The Funky Zebras
– Spirit of North Iowa was presented to NIACC Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center
– Larry Luker Volunteer of the Year was the North Iowa Cultural Center & Museum Board of Directors
– Business of the Year winner was One Vision
The Clear Lake Chamber also noted they have so far raised over $1.1 million for the capital campaign to expand and renovate the Chamber’s headquarters.
