Retail sales could increase a little more than three percent during the holidays this year.
That’s according to some new predictions by Mastercard. It says that’s a little higher than last year. Mastercard says people will be a lot more picky when finding deals, thanks to inflation and demand. Online sales could jump more than seven percent, as more people shop on Amazon, as opposed to going into stores.
Since Thanksgiving comes so late in November, there are also only 27 official shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
