SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) has developed a plan, the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for transportation projects through 2028.
The 2025-2028 TIP contains 65 projects. More than $896 million of proposed transportation investments will be spent over the next four years on everything from repairing roads to creating new recreational trails.
Some examples include projects that maintain and preserve existing roads, bicycle and pedestrian projects, public transit investments, bridge repair and construction of new facilities, like the North Spokane Corridor.
“It’s a really important milestone to get the last few sections of the North Spokane Corridor in the TIP. That allows them to finish the designing… right away and finally the construction of the connection of Interstate 90,” Ryan Stewart, the Principal Transportation Planner for SRTC, said.
