I just want to come home from work and have someone jump up on my lap, and lick my face, and fetch a ball when I throw it.” Well, now the late actress’ millions of fans (human and dog) can lick her face whenever they want, because she’s being honored with a “forever” stamp, the United States Postal Service announced on Monday.
The new stamp, to be released in 2025, is “graced with her likeness” and exemplifies her “spritely sense of fun,” said the USPS. It comes three years after she passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, just weeks shy of her 100th birthday, which would have been on Jan. 17, 2022.
