SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Augustana hockey team finally got to play on home ice for the first time in nearly two full months this weekend against Lindenwood.
Though they kept their unbeaten streak alive, extending it to six games, they had to work for every inch of it, rallying with two third period goals on Friday night to win 3-2.
Last night they fought to a 1-1 tie, winning their exhibition shootout 2-1.
Head coach Garrett Raboin says playing a Lindenwood squad whose style differed from there’s will pay dividends moving forward.
