An Auburn family received their first house just in time to celebrate the holidays.
Auburn Opelika Habitat for Humanity welcomed the Lamb Family and presented them with their key, officially making them first-time homeowners. This is AOHFH’s 77th home.
Homeowner Ronelle Lamb expressed how much she appreciated the community coming out to celebrate this special occasion with her and her family, and the hard work from AOHFH and Stone Martin Builders to make it happen.
“I wanted something for my children,” Lamb said. “Anybody that knows me, they’re my heartbeat. So not only is this for me it’s for my babies… we thank you… they are truly grateful, and I pray that God blesses every single one of you beyond measure. Thank you so much, our hearts are full.”
