The suspect allegedly forced a 19-year-old victim from Roseville into sex work across multiple states.
ROSEVILLE, Calif. — A man has been arrested for allegedly forcing a 19-year-old victim from Roseville into sex trafficking across multiple states.
The suspect was arrested in Los Angeles by the county sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau on Aug. 16. Detectives found five guns at his home, including a “ghost” AR pistol.
Ghost guns do not have serial numbers, which makes them harder for law enforcement to track.
The suspect will be extradited to Placer County, where he will be prosecuted.
The investigation was a two-month operation led by Roseville’s Crime Suppression Unit with help from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau.
