CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Coastal Bend landscaping business is busy helping residents prepare their homes for the upcoming freeze next week.

“We been inundated with calls and we got about 28-30 houses right now that we’re going to be taking care of plants and irrigation systems in the Aransas Pass, Port Aransas and Rockport area,” Hodge said.
Hodge shares several tips you can do to prepare your home for the freeze.
“When you want to protect your pipes, all your hose bibs you want to cover with a good insulated cover,” he said. “Your backflow preventer as we’ll show you sticks up from the ground. …
