As of 2022, Killen, Alabama, has a population of just over 1,300. For many, it’s just a brief stop on Highway 72, but it’s home to one of the greatest scary attractions in America: Arx Mortis.
Its owner, Vinny Grosso, has been in the business of haunts for about 30 years. He started out as an actor for haunted attractions, but about 15 years ago decided to create his own.
