Deputies were performing a wellness check Thursday after Mable Mills, 43, did not come to work. They found her dead in the home.
ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — An investigation is underway after an Allegan County woman was found dead in her home on Thursday. Deputies say they are considering her death to be a homicide.
Deputies performed a wellness check Thursday at a home in Lee Township when Mable Mills, 43, did not come to work. Her family met deputies at the scene.
Mills was found dead in the home.
The medical examiner is now investigating. Evidence taken from the scene is also being tested. Deputies are investigating her death as a homicide pending results from those tests.
No arrests have been made.
