All main political parties take part in Metro’s General Election hustings | Politics News [Video]

Our General Election hustings are kicking off at Metro Towers, with representatives from the six main parties facing off against each other.

We’ve got Labour’s Wes Streeting, the Green Party’s Zack Polanski, the SNP’s Ian Blackford, the Liberal Democrats’ Daisy Cooper, Reform’s Alex Wilson, and the Conservative’s David Simmonds.

All are ready, we hope, to answer our readers’ questions on healthcare, social care, transport, housing, homelessness and LGBT issues – plus a surprise or two.

It comes as Gamblegate intensifies, with just over a week before polling day on July 4.
