BBC One Show’s Alex Jones has admitted that her job in TV makes her feel “guilty”. The Welsh presenter 47, and her husband, Charlie Thomson share Teddy, six, Kit, four, and Annie, three, and balancing looking after them with working “breaks her heart”.

Speaking to Women & Home UK, Alex admitted that she sometimes feels “guilty” when trying to juggle her work and home life. She said: “I suffer from terrible mum guilt at times, but that’s the nature of my work.

“I feel massive guilt about not being able to put the kids to bed every night, which is why Charlie and I spend as much time with them as possible, doing things that they will remember.”
