ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – More than 300,000 Georgians are still without power in Georgia. Power companies reported mass outages when Hurricane Helene tore through Georgia on Thursday night and into Friday morning.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp said the storm left a path of devastation more than 200 miles long.
Meredith Pritchard shared photos of her home in Richmond County. She said it’s unlivable. Multiple trees hit her house, including one that broke through the roof and into her 11-month-old daughter’s nursery.
She is looking for a rental property where they can move while she waits for her home to be repaired. She said she feels like they are one of the lucky ones.
